2D plans and elevations are an important part of the design process as they are able to convey internal layouts quickly and clearly; but do we really get a true sense of the spaces we are creating when sketching ideas only in 2D?
Refining our plans in 3D gives us a better understanding of the spaces we’re creating.
By using 2D plans and elevations we are able to create accurate 3D models of any proposed design scheme.
Floor levels can then be separated out and examined in more detail. Materials, floor finishes and furniture dressing can be added to give a true sense of scale.

As well as aiding in the design development stages of a project, 3D floorplans can also be utilised in marketing packages. They are a fantastic way of showcasing a property that is yet to be built, providing the prospective buyer with more information than their 2D counterparts.
